Day 2 — Kaghan Valley to Hunza
After an early breakfast, resume the journey to Hunza (320 km, about 7 hours). Pass Batakundi, a newly developed tourist resort, and the small hamlet of Besal, then visit the striking Lulusar Lake — headwater source of the Kunhar River. Climb to Babusar Top at 13,690 ft, the highest point in Kaghan Valley, where the minimum temperature stays around 3°C; the pass links Gilgit-Baltistan with KPK via Thak Nala on the Karakoram Highway. Continue past Chilas, cross Raikot Bridge — gateway to the Nanga Parbat base camp and the jeep track to Fairy Meadows — and stop at the viewpoint for Nanga Parbat, the Killer Mountain, the world's 9th highest at 26,660 ft. Near Jaglot, pause at the Three Mountains junction point where the Himalaya, Hindukush and Karakoram meet, then at the Rakaposhi Viewpoint — at 25,551 ft, the 'mother of clouds' is the world's 27th highest peak. Arrive in Aliabad, Hunza and transfer to the hotel.

Day 3 — Hunza Valley
After breakfast, visit Baltit Fort in Karimabad and explore its unique architecture. Built in the 16th century for a Baltistan princess who married the Mir of Hunza, with foundations dating back 700 years, the former seat of the Hunza kingdom is now the valley's most iconic landmark, with panoramic views over Hunza. Continue to Hooper Valley, a scenic portion of Nagar Khas, and Hopar Glacier for a half-day excursion (50 km, about 1 hour each way). Head back to visit the 1,000-year-old Ganesh Village and Eagle's Nest at 10,000 ft for a mesmerizing sunset and panoramic views of the whole valley, with famous peaks such as Rakaposhi, Lady Finger and the Golden Peaks overhead. Return to the hotel in Aliabad for the night.

Day 4 — Upper Hunza & the Pak-China Border
After breakfast, set off for Khunjerab Pass, the Pakistan–China border at 15,397 ft — a marvelous place of striking mountains and scenery (100 km, about 4 hours each way). Stop en route at Attabad Lake, formed in 2010 by a massive landslide with a maximum length of 21 km and depth of 358 ft; at Gulmit; at the Hussaini Suspension Bridge, a hand-built community bridge considered the world's second longest man-made hanging bridge, once used by trade caravans on the old Silk Route; at Passu Glacier and the cone-shaped Passu Cones; and at Sost, the dry port of Pak-China trade. Passing Dhee, the entrance to Khunjerab National Park, arrive at the pass and spend some time at the border — oxygen levels are low at this altitude, so chewing gum during the stay is advised. Return to the Aliabad hotel for the night.

Day 5 — Naltar Valley (Off-Road Adventure Day)
After breakfast, head for Naltar Valley (95 km, about 2.5 hours including an off-road jeep trek). Change vehicles at Rahimabad and transfer to 4WD jeeps for the off-road journey. Explore beautiful Naltar and visit Satrangi Lake and Pari Lake, then drive back in the afternoon via Rahimabad and the Karakoram Highway to Gilgit (45 km, about 1 hour 45 minutes) and check in for the night in Gilgit city.

Day 6 — Back to Kaghan Valley
After an early breakfast, start the drive back to Naran via Babusar Top (235 km, about 5 hours 20 minutes). A free, relaxed day for families to enjoy the scenic points of Naran Valley along the way and capture photos of a memorable trip. Overnight at a Naran hotel.

Day 7 — Lake Saif ul Malook and return to Islamabad
After breakfast, ride jeeps to Lake Saif ul Malook (about 3 hours return) — a heavenly turquoise lake with a mesmerizing landscape, named for the Sufi poet's fairy tale of a Persian prince who fell in love with a fairy princess at the lake. Afterwards, leave for Islamabad via Balakot, Mansehra, the Hazara Expressway and the M-1 Motorway (282 km, about 6 hours), with drop-off at your designated place.
