Pakistan Visa

Pakistan has launched a new e-visa policy under which the government welcomes foreigners visiting for business or tourism. Many nationalities now also qualify for visa on arrival, and visa processing takes roughly 7 to 10 days. With a range of visa types on offer, travelers from around the world can explore the beauty of Pakistan without hassle.

Pakistan is fast emerging as a business hub, with foreign investors setting up businesses in arrangements that benefit both sides. At the same time, the country's natural beauty and lofty peaks make it a magnet for adventure tourists and nature lovers alike.

Visa on arrival is currently extended to 55 tourist-friendly countries. Under this scheme the tour must be organized and executed by a registered tour operator in Pakistan. The visa is valid for 30 days; group members need not arrive together, but their travel within Pakistan must be conducted as a group according to the agreed itinerary.

Visit Pakistan

Pakistan rewards visitors with both historical and natural riches. Its capital, Islamabad, framed by the Margalla Hills, is often ranked the second most beautiful capital in the world. The northern areas β€” Swat, Skardu, Hunza Valley, Abbottabad, Murree and other enchanting spots β€” showcase the country's natural splendor, while historical landmarks and ancient sites such as Harappa, Mohenjo-Daro, Lahore Fort, Katas Raj Temple and Rohtas Fort are major attractions in their own right.

Pakistan Visa on Arrival

Visa on arrival is available to tourist groups of 7 or more, and also to business clients who wish to visit Pakistan to do business or invest in its developing infrastructure.

Security Situation in Pakistan

Security in Pakistan has improved greatly β€” international tourists, foreign businessmen, sports teams and mountaineers now travel here without hassle, alongside local citizens. A few areas remain restricted and require clearance, and personal security can be arranged for guests, including personal guards for those who want added comfort during their stay.

Per Pakistani government requirements, visitors staying more than 30 days must register with the district Foreigners Registration Office. Citizens of India and Afghanistan must register at the police station nearest their residence within 24 hours of arrival.

Travel and Tourism Permits

Much of Pakistan is open to tourists without legal restriction, but some areas around the great mountain ranges require permits or royalty fees. GlobalGateway provides professional guidance on all legal documentation the Pakistani government requires for tourism. We can also arrange seminars, concerts, gigs and product launches in Pakistan, and advise on locations for shooting films, advertisements and documentaries.
