This 6-day adventure heads up the Karakoram Highway to one of Pakistan's most famous and picturesque spots β Fairy Meadows β with a glacier-crossing trek to the base camp of Nanga Parbat, the world's 9th highest peak, before looping back to Islamabad through Naran and the Kaghan Valley.

Day 1 β Islamabad to Chilas
Depart Islamabad early morning for a long, scenic drive. The Karakoram Highway (KKH) offers stunning views along the way, especially passing through charming towns like Mansehra, Shinkiari and Battagram. Overnight in Chilas, a small town in Gilgit-Baltistan at the base of the mountains.

Day 2 β Chilas to Fairy Meadows
Drive towards Fairy Meadows and stop at Raikot Bridge, where you change vehicles and board a jeep for the bumpy ride up to Tato Village. From Tato, a roughly 2-hour trek brings you to Fairy Meadows, one of Pakistan's most famous and picturesque spots, where you camp or stay in huts.

Day 3 β Nanga Parbat Base Camp
Trek to Nanga Parbat Base Camp at an altitude of around 13,000 feet. The trail offers incredible views of the mountain and surrounding wilderness, with a rest stop at Biyal camp β and you'll actually walk on a glacier, a truly unforgettable experience. After crossing the glacier, continue to the base camp for a magnificent close-up of Nanga Parbat, the world's 9th highest peak, then return to Fairy Meadows for the night in tents or huts.

Day 4 β Rest day at Fairy Meadows
Spend the day soaking in the tranquility of Fairy Meadows β take photographs, write in a journal, or simply enjoy the stunning sunrise and sunset. The lakes here cast a beautiful mirror image of towering Nanga Parbat, a great photo opportunity. Another night in these serene surroundings.

Day 5 β Fairy Meadows to Naran
After a peaceful morning, return to Raikot Bridge by trek and jeep, then travel along the Karakoram Highway and connecting roads through scenic villages and valleys to Naran. The drive takes around 4β6 hours depending on road conditions, passing lush greenery, rivers and towering mountains. Overnight at the hotel.

Day 6 β Naran to Islamabad
After an early breakfast, begin the drive back to Islamabad β approximately 6β8 hours depending on road conditions β passing through the scenic Kaghan Valley with its rivers, valleys and snow-capped peaks. On arrival in Islamabad, drop-off at the designated spot.
