Tour Itinerary

  1. 1

    Day 1 β€” Islamabad to Skardu by air

    Fly from Islamabad to Skardu and transfer to the hotel. Visit Shangrila and Kachora Lake, and in the afternoon head up to Kharpocho Fort.

  2. 2

    Day 2 β€” Skardu to Khaplu

    Visit the Manthokha waterfall, Khaplu Fort, Sailing Meadows, the Masherbrum viewpoint and the 700-year-old Chaqchan Mosque.

  3. 3

    Day 3 β€” Skardu to Shigar: rally day

    Drive to Shigar Fort and the Cold Desert for the Sarfaranga Jeep Rally final β€” the highlight of the trip.

    Day 4 β€” Skardu to Deosai

    A day excursion to the Deosai Plains, visiting Sadpara Lake, Deosai Top, Bara Pani and, optionally, Sheosar Lake.

  5. 5

    Day 5 β€” Return to Islamabad

    Transfer to Skardu airport for the return flight to Islamabad.

  • Late checkout, if different from the standard checkout time
  • Personal insurance of clients/luggage

  • Zakh competition (rafting on traditional boats)
  • Beverages, phone calls or other expenses of a personal nature
  • Medical aid, evacuation or extra expenses in emergencies
  • Any item not mentioned above
Any change in the tour plan results in a change of cost reflected in the invoice; allow plus or minus 3–4 hours of travel time in hilly areas. Hotel check-in is 14:00 and check-out 12:00 β€” late checkout is free until 14:00, charged at 50% of the room rate until 18:00, and a full night thereafter. The package requires a minimum group of 10 persons.

Child policy

  • Children below 7 years sharing the parents' room stay free (maximum 2 children per room)
  • Children above 7 and up to 12 years are charged 50% of the adult cost
  • Children above 12 are treated as adults
  • The price does not include breakfast and dinner for children below 7

Payment & cancellation policy

  • Reservations are first-come, first-served and confirmed on receipt of a 50% advance payment
  • Cancellations not notified at least 72 hours before departure are charged at the quoted rates
  • The remaining 50% payment must be cleared before departure
